It is hard to believe it is already September. Thank you, parents, students, teachers, office staff and Mrs. Weivoda for all of your hard work. I am so very grateful for dedication t o the children’s education, and well-being. God has truly blessed our community and the Holy Spirit is present.

Continue to pray as a family each day for the safety and well-being of our children and everyone in our community. We will have our first all school Rosary on Friday, September 11 hosted by the 8th grade. We will do the Rosary live so all students at home can participate.

We will have a long weekend beginning Friday, September. September 4 - 7 will be off for Labor Day Weekend! Be safe and enjoy the time without school work!

We will have Student Council Commissioner elections on Friday, September 11th. We will do this virtually. Each student running for an office will have a two-minute speech and we will send to every student the ballot so they can vote. Parents may assist with the voting at home.

All students are being assessed so we can see their present level of performance and support each student's individual needs when it comes to learning. This information will be shared with you once we have collected all of the data.

Thank you to all of the parents for following the new arrival and dismissal procedures. With everyone working together things are going very smoothly.

After having many meetings with the Diocese there are a few things that you all need to be aware of concerning COVID.

1. If your child does not feel well please keep them home. A fever can be no higher than 100.1.
2. We do have cohorts at school, which means the students do not mingle with other classes. Teachers move not the students. They have recess, PE, music, breakfast and lunch together.
3. If a child does get COVID, we will first report this to county and health departments along with the Dioceses. We will be given guidance from them on how to handle the situation. Each situation is different. Letters would go home to the entire school to keep you informed.

Es difícil creer que ya es septiembre, Gracias padres, estudiantes, maestros, empleados de la oficina y a la señora Weivoda por todo su trabajo. Estoy muy agradecida por su dedicación en la educación de los niños, y su bienestar. Dios verdaderamente ha bendecido nuestra comunidad y el Espíritu Santo está presente.

Continúe orando como familia cada día por la seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros niños y de todos en nuestra comunidad. Tendremos nuestro primer Rosario con todos en la escuela el viernes 11 de septiembre dirigido por el 8vo grado. Haremos el Rosario en vivo para que todos los estudiantes en casa puedan participar.

Tendremos un fin de semana largo ¡iniciando el viernes 4 de septiembre hasta el 7 de septiembre que será el día del trabajo! ¡Estén a salvo y disfruten el tiempo sin trabajo escolar!

Tendremos elecciones para el Comisionado del Consejo Estudiantil el viernes 11 de septiembre. Haremos esto virtualmente. Cada estudiante postulante para un puesto tendrá un discurso de dos minutos y enviaremos a cada estudiante la boleta para que puedan votar. Los padres pueden ayudar con el voto en casa.

Todos los estudiantes serán evaluados para poder ver su nivel actual de desempeño y apoyar las necesidades individuales de cada estudiante cuando se trata de aprender. Esta información se compartirá con usted una vez reunidos todos los datos.

Gracias a todos los padres por seguir los nuevos procedimientos de entrada y salida. Con todos trabajando juntos las cosas están saliendo muy bien.

Después de tener varias juntas con la Diócesis hay algunas cosas que todos ustedes necesitan ser conscientes concerniente a el COVID.

1. Si su hijo no se siente bien, por favor manténgalo en casa. La fiebre no debe ser mayor de 100.1
2. Tenemos grupos en la escuela, significa que los estudiantes no se mezclan con otras clases. Los maestros se mueven no los estudiantes. Ellos tienen recreo, educación física, música, desayuno y almuerzo juntos.
3. Si un niño adquiere COVID, primero informaremos al condado y a los departamentos de salud al mismo tiempo que a la Diócesis. Nos darán guías en cómo manejar la situación. Cada situación es diferente. Se enviarán a casa cartas a toda la escuela para mantenerlo informado.
