Dear OLPH School Parents,
By the Grace of God, welcome back to a new school year filled with exciting innovations and opportunities at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Glendale Catholic School. It brings me great joy to extend a warm welcome to all our returning families, and a special welcome to our new parents as you become part of our OLPH family.
We are truly grateful for your trust in our mission and vision and for choosing our school. As the pastor of this corporation, I strive to guide your children on their journey to heaven, I am committed to providing them with a well-rounded formation based on the four pillars of Christian anthropology: spiritual, human, intellectual, and pastoral. It is our goal to help them appreciate the richness of our Catholic Tradition and Spirituality, live a healthy and charitable life, develop critical thinking and moral values, and nurture their involvement in the life of the Church and our school community.
We are enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead for you and your students as they embark on this new academic year. Our dedicated team has been working diligently to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all our students. We strongly believe in fostering a strong partnership between your home and our school, and we encourage open communication and collaboration to ensure the best possible educational experience for your child. Thus, we invite you to actively participate in our school events, and programs, explore volunteering opportunities, and attend parent-teacher conferences to remain engaged in your child's education. Your support and involvement are crucial and invaluable to the success of our students.
As part of our core values is to be pioneers of innovation, let me share the exciting new developments that are underway at our school, including our long-awaited partnership with Hyoseong Catholic School in South Korea (https://hyoseong.dge.es.kr/) in which some of our 4th,5th, and 6th year students will enjoy; improvements to our basketball courts (see images attached); new upcoming elegant school's fencing; and improved communication to keep you better informed about the wonderful things happening at our school.
With our new Principal, Mrs. Brenda Castro, and her dedicated team, significant investments are being made to elevate our academic programs. I encourage you to support her efforts as we work together to achieve excellence. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions. We are here to support you and your students every step of the way. We need your full involvement to reach our goals.
Once more, welcome to OLPH Glendale Catholic School, and may this school year be filled with many blessings and success as we work together to create the school of our dreams.
May the Lord bless you and Our Lady of Perpetual Help intercede for us.
